Italian outlet Calcio Mercato today features a big piece on Dusan Vlahovic and the chances that Fiorentina have of holding him at the club.
Following the great season he’d just had and a little race for the signing, the youngster already scored five goals this season, leaving a clear sign that he’ll continue being chased.
To talk about that issue, Calcio Mercato of course recalls the interest from clubs such as Atletico Madrid, Juventus and Tottenham Hotspur, who’d been following the striker in the last transfer window.
It’s said the player wanted to say, but still hasn’t answered to La Viola’s offer for a renewal. The Serie A side is said to be putting on the table €4m per season plus a bonus of €3m to his agent Darko Ristic.
Calcio Mercato writes that Atletico Madrid and Tottenham never offered the figures between €70m and €80m which would make Fiorentina think about the sale.
Still, the Italian club are afraid there could be new attempts soon. It’s said that despite Vlahovic’s words of love for La Viola, he continues to ‘hesitate’ about the contract renewal.
Juventus continue to be seen as the strongest possibility in case of his departure, but it’s clear that other clubs could show up and convince Fiorentina of a deal.
