Last week, reports from the Portuguese media suggested that Tottenham Hotspur could be close to putting forward a bid for Benfica striker Haris Seferovic.

Newspaper O Jogo claimed Spurs have been following the 29-year-old, and their attempt to sign him from the Eagles could be made soon.

Well, over a week has passed, and even though Tottenham are apparently still to make a move for the player, their interest isn’t forgotten.

Seferovic is now back with Benfica’s squad for the pre-season, and as outlet A Bola covers his arrival at the club, they mention that Spurs are pursuing him.

It’s said Tottenham had already been following Seferovic, and now that he had good performances at the Euros, there’s now an interest in signing him.

Seferovic scored three goals in the tournament, two of them in the match against France, which came after a prolific season with Benfica where he scored 22 league goals.

Recent reports from Portugal recently said he could be available for €25m.
