Covering Tottenham’s 4-0 win over Bournemouth last Saturday, ESPN Brasil have produced a story covering the construction of the club’s new stadium.

Claiming that ‘things couldn’t get much better’ for Mauricio Pochettino’s men, reporter João Castelo Branco demonstrated how happy Spurs fans are, at both getting a new stadium and being in a fight to win the Premier League.

They managed to interview Eric Dier at the end of the game, who sounded pretty excited with the form that Tottenham are living.

Raised in Portugal, Dier can speak fluent Portuguese, and that’s how he chatted to the TV channel after the win: “We have to believe to the end. We’ll be winning our games if possible, we’ll give everything on the pitch to win our games, then it depends on the other teams.

“But we work a lot with each other, and it’s really a team work. Because our quality is added to it, and we’re very hard to stop.”

On the club’s future, the 23-year-old said: “The fans are very happy with us and our work, the players are giving everything, we have a fantastic manager who’s also young, with young players, then with the stadium. Everything we have has been going for us. So we’re very optimistic.”

As the interview was given on Saturday, Chelsea were still to play, and ended up losing to Manchester United at Old Trafford 2-0. Now with only a four points gap between the Blues and the Spurs, Tottenham’s dream season is still possible.
