Heung-min Son has impressed for Tottenham Hotspur increasingly, and the forward has scored 20 goals in all competitions since the start of the 2016/17 season.
Mauricio Pochettino has largely used the South Korea international on the left wing, but he can also be deployed on the right wing or used as a centre forward.
His performances have caught the attention of a big European club, according to Calciomercato. The Italian websites states the 27-year-old has ended up in the sights of Bayern Munich.
It’s claimed the Bundesliga winners are ‘interested’ in the Spurs star, who’s contracted to the north London club until 2022.
Son has the experience of playing in Germany as he had spells at Hamburg and Bayer Leverkusen before joining Tottenham in 2015.
Calciomercato doesn’t specify if it’s their original claim or they have based the report on another source. If it’s the latter, there is no mention of it in the report.
For Bayern, Son could be a cheaper alternative to Manchester City’s Leroy Sané, who is currently on the sidelines after suffering a serious injury in August.
