Italian outlet Calcio Mercato has a story about the competition between Inter Milan and Juventus for the Fiorentina defender Joachim Andersen.

They claim the Nerazzurri, who faced him last weekend, have even held a meeting with the player’s entourage to confirm their interest.

But this is not a two-horse race, as they also mention Tottenham Hotspur as an important contender. Spurs’ interest has been reported for a while now, and Calcio Mercato confirms them as a threat from outside Italy.

Tottenham are said to have ‘set their sights’ on the player.

It’s said that Sampdoria will be demanding at least €30m for Andersen, but this price could be increased depending on how the season goes.

On Tuesday, we covered claims from Tuttosport about the defender’s situation. The Turin newspaper had claimed he had a 30% chance to move to Arsenal, 35% to sign for Borussia Dortmund, 25% for Juventus and 5% for Roma.

They didn’t mention Tottenham Hotspur in their story.
