According to claim in the Austrian media, Tottenham Hotspur are sending a scout to the game between RB Salzburg and Marseille tonight.
The Premier League side have already scouted the Austrian club this season, and have been linked with two of their players in recent weeks.
Laola1 report Tottenham are on the scouting list for tonight’s Europa League semi final second leg and will be joined by Borussia Dortmund, Stuttgart, Hoffenheim, Frankfurt, Nuremberg, Napoli, Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid and Lyon.
The purpose of Tottenham’s trip to Austria is likely to get a further lowdown on RB Salzburg’s Amadou Haidara and Hwang Hee-chan ahead of the next transfer window.
In March we covered reports Tottenham have been following Haidara over a long period and that they watched the midfielder against Borussia Dortmund earlier in the competition.
More recently Hwang Hee-chan, a striker, has been linked with a move to the London club, along with Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin. It’s unlikely the Korean forward will start the game tonight, but should play some part as he did in the first leg against Marseille.
