According to a claim in the Danish media, Tottenham Hotspur sent a scout to the game between FC Nordsjaelland and AaB on Friday night.

It’s been reported by Tipsbladet that Tottenham officials were in attendance for the Danish SuperLiga game, which Nordsjaelland won 3-1.

There are no reports who the Premier League side were casting an eye on, but there has been plenty of attention on Nordsjaelland midfielder Mathias Jensen from clubs across Europe.

It’s likely Tottenham would have been impressed by the performance of the 22 year old as it’s reported he was instrumental in his side’s victory.

The Denmark U21 international has been one of Nordsjaelland’s standout players this season, which has led to interest from the likes of Sevilla, Villarreal and Celta Vigo.

Another club interested in Jensen is Ajax, and this could lead to comparisons with Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen.

Erisksen made his name with the Dutch giants, which earned him his big move to Tottenham in 2013.
