This Thursday, Tottenham Hotspur got a discreet mention in one of Calcio Mercato‘s stories about the future of Adrien Rabiot.

The outlet claimed that with the midfielder’s certain departure from PSG, he was expecting to join clubs like Barcelona and Real Madrid, but these possibilities have never become real.

Now the only two clubs who are said to be alive in the race are Juventus and Tottenham Hotspur. There are no details on the talks, as it’s only mentioned that the Old Lady are careful due to Rabiot’s big demands.

Tottenham don’t even get a mention in the headline, so it’s really like the Spurs are not a big threat to land the Frenchman.

But it turns out that in their English version, which brings a headline saying ‘Exclusive: Juventus and Tottenham to compete for Rabiot’, the website writes that Spurs tried to sign the player in the winter, and ‘are now willing to break their wage structure to sign the Frenchman’.

Now we wonder why this information hasn’t been included in the Italian story, as it looks like they want to make both sides happy with what can be read in their own language.
