On March 15th, France Football reported Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in Paulo Dybala.

Last week, Calciomercato stated the Blues and the north London club aren’t willing to spend beyond €45m on the Juventus player.

The forward’s contract expires in 2022 and there hasn’t been any renewal talks recently.

Another report from Calciomercato focuses only on Spurs as they say José Mourinho’s side are ‘really trying’ for the 27-year-old.

Tottenham showed interest in the Argentine in 2019, when Mauricio Pochettino was in charge at the club. Issues around the attacker’s image rights was one of the main reasons why the deal didn’t materialise two years ago.

Juve will make the South American available in the next market and the problem around his image rights no longer exists. This was the major stumbling block for Tottenham in 2019.

Spurs are ready to make an approach in a ‘more defined way’, but need to convince Dybala to change his mind. Juventus ‘hope’ the Premier League side can convince the former Palermo star so that they can offload him in the summer.

Dybala has three goals and two assists in 16 matches in all competitions this season for the Serie A side.
