Juan Foyth could be edging towards his exit from Tottenham Hotspur, according to claims from the Italian media today.
Website Calcio Mercato reports that the defender is looking for more minutes, and a move to Serie A is a possibility for the summer window.
The outlet claims Tottenham are willing to make Foyth available on a swap deal or a sale, demanding between €12m and €15m in this case.
And the Argentine international wouldn’t be short of options in Italy, since the likes of Atalanta, Fiorentina and AC Milan have all been keeping an eye on him.
It’s claimed Foyth’s entourage had contacts with Atalanta and Fiorentina in the past, and these talks could resume in the coming weeks.
On Milan’s case, Calcio Mercato writes that the Rossoneri have ‘shown interest’, despite being only ‘preliminary’. With a couple of defenders leaving them this summer, Foyth could be an option.
The website makes it clear that none of these clubs have made concrete moves so far, but Foyth is expected to be an attractive option for the summer, ‘both for his price as for his potential’.
Tottenham selling for €15m or less sounds uncharacteristically generous.
