Following the end of the summer transfer window, we can’t even have one day to rest, as the rumours for the next transfer window have already started.
Now we see Tottenham Hotspur being pointed out as a potential destination for Milan midfielder Franck Kessie.
The 24-year-old is entering the final year of his contract with the Rossoneri, and according to a couple of reports from Italy, Spurs are already looking to sign him for free.
One of the stories comes from website Calcio Mercato, who says the London side are ‘ready to make’ an offer of €8m per year to the player.
Meanwhile, Tottenham’s interest was also reported by Sport Mediaset. As covered by CalcioMercato.it, Spurs and Chelsea are in ‘front row’ to sign him with an offer of between €7m and €8m ‘excluding bonuses’.
When trying to renew his deal, Milan are ‘stuck at €7m with bonuses included’.
So that’s an advantage that Nuno Espírito Santo’s side already have in the race.
