Ousmane Dembélé has six months left on his contract at Barcelona and has now decided against signing a new deal at the Camp Nou.
The Catalan club are frustrated, disappointed and have ran out of patience after the winger’s latest stance. This is according to Mundo Deportivo, who also discuss Tottenham Hotspur’s interest to sign him.
His agent, Moussa Sissoko, would have already held talks with the leaders of Paris Saint-Germain. The 24-year-old has also been linked with a move to Bayern Munich.
Despite PSG and the Bundesliga winners monitoring the France international’s situation at Barca, the newspaper states that ‘everything indicates’ he will go to England, where the Premier League will probably be his next destination.
The option to join the north London club is gaining weight as it’s claimed Spurs would ‘push hard’ to secure the former Borussia Dortmund man’s services.
Fabio Paratici is an admirer of the player as the current Tottenham chief ‘already tempted’ Dembélé to join Juventus, when he was at the Turin club.
Mundo say Paratici is now looking at potential free agents, with a view to provide resources to Antonio Conte so that the manager can help Spurs compete for major silverware.
The Frenchman could be one among them, which is why Tottenham are trying to ‘push hard’ for his signature.
