Inter Milan had already been interested in the signing of Torino defender Gleison Bremer, and following the clash between the two clubs at the weekend, the chase seems to have turned more concrete.

Tutto Mercato Web writes that the Nerazzurri are now more convinced of going for the defender, and should join the big battle that is expected for the summer window.

Many clubs should place their bids for Bremer at the end of the season, and as usual, Tottenham Hotspur are named among them.

Spurs are said to have a ‘presence’ in the competition along with Bayern Munich, Juventus, Milan, Liverpool and, of course, Inter Milan.

Torino are said to be ‘awaiting the auction’ for Bremer. It’s said the fixed price is €30m, but with so many clubs interested, president Urbano Cairo will use the ‘auction’ and sell to the highest bidder.

We’d already seen Tottenham being linked to Bremer earlier on Monday, when Forza Roma pointed out the London side as one of the destinations for him. They claimed Torino would sell the defender for around €25m, and it’s now becoming clear that he should actually cost a little more.

Torino’s hope is that Premier League competition can force the price higher, given the greater finances in English football.
