Tottenham Hotspur youngster Marcus Edwards is on his way to Serie A side Udinese, according to reports from Italy.

Website Tutto Udinese brings an exclusive story saying the club worked silently to sign the 20-year-old this summer.

They say the player is already in Udine, and the media outlet already starts presenting him, saying he mostly plays on the right, but could do a job in midfield as well.

Marcus Edwards has been with Spurs since he was a teenager, having been through several youth ranks. He had two loans last year, first at Norwich City and then with Dutch side Excelsior.

His time in the Netherlands even gave him some chances to play first team football, but that was not the same in England. At Norwich and Spurs, he only played one game for each.

For Tottenham, he featured for 15 minutes in a League Cup game against FC Gillingham in 2016. Now he’s set to leave the club with no new opportunities.
