Earlier on Monday, we covered a story about how Davinson Sánchez was a serious candidate for Rennes, who may quickly need a new defender.
That will be great news for Spurs, who need to get players off their books so they can continue their incoming business to help Ange Postecoglou build a squad to his image.
However, Rennes aren’t the only club after the Colombian defender, as Galatasaray still have him ‘on the agenda’, according to Hurriyet.
The defender only has one year left on his contract at Spurs, so there would need to be a fee added on top of those wages, with previous claims stating the Premier League side are wanting €10-12m.
Whether that’s a fee Galatasaray will pay or have isn’t said, but it is stated that they are ‘considering transferring a defender’ once they have sorted their midfield issues out, where Tottenham’s Tanguy Ndombélé was once a target for them before he decided the move wasn’t for him.
