As Tottenham Hotspur loanee Bryan Gil turned out to be an important player for Valencia in his short loan spell there, there’s now some concern regarding his physical situation.
The winger had a knock during the match against Cadiz at the weekend which forced him to leave the pitch, and with few games until the end of the season, his recovery time could be an issue.
AS brings some information on that front today, claiming there’s a ‘moderate relief’ with the situation. That’s because, at least in the first tests, it really seems like it was only a blow with no further trouble.
Bryan Gil, however, is having medical tests today in order to confirm whether the injury is serious or not, and Valencia will be hoping there’s nothing serious about it.
Signed by Tottenham on a €25m deal from Sevilla at the start of the season, Bryan Gil didn’t have a great adaptation to the Premier League in his first six months in London.
That’s why he was sent to Valencia in January, and following his 11 appearances for the club, he’s already a player they count on, especially for the upcoming Copa del Rey final against Betis this month.
The winger is set to be back at Tottenham this summer, with his contract running until 2026.
