Italian newspaper Tuttosport has a story today about the scouting mission done by Juventus at Anfield at the weekend.
The newspaper claims officials from the Old Lady watched Liverpool’s 2-1 over Tottenham on Sunday, and several players involved in that game could be targeted by the Serie A side.
Two of them are often mentioned by the Italian press. Christian Eriksen and Toby Alderweireld have their contracts with Spurs expiring soon, and have been linked to Juve for a while now.
But there’s a new name in the list, and that’s Heung-min Son. The South Korea attacker isn’t frequently named in the rumour mill, but now emerges as a target for the Old Lady.
Tuttosport praises Son’s skills and speed, comparing him to Mohamed Salah. That’s not all. They say he’d also be a good signing for Juventus in terms of marketing, since he’s able to attract some big attention from Asia.
Despite the big news, there’s nothing on Juventus’ chase for the player now. It looks like it’s a new name on their table, so we can only expect the rumours to grow in the coming months.
