Earlier today, we covered news about Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, who provided an update on his injury situation while on RMC Sport’s show, Footissime.
The World Cup winner with France not only spoke about his fitness, but he was also asked about several goalkeepers changing clubs in the summer transfer window.
High profile transfers included Thibaut Courtois to Real Madrid, Alisson Becker to Liverpool and Chelsea signing Kepa.
The former Lyon man’s contract with the north London club runs down in 2022 and there were no concrete reports about any club interested to secure the services of the 31-year-old stopper.
That time has passed, with it being clear Lloris is content at Tottenham and they are with him.
Lloris, who was forced to miss Didier Deschamps’ squad for the two international fixtures, appeared on the show from the English capital, where he spoke about his bonding with Mauricio Pochettino and also explained why he is content with his life at Spurs.
“We do not control everything, I’m focused on my daily life with Tottenham. The most important thing for me is to enjoy my daily work, whether it’s training, with my coach’s philosophy,” he explained.
“I have a very special relationship with Mauricio Pochettino, we try to contribute to the success of the club and progress each year and I am very happy where I am.”
