Corinthians, Palmeiras and Vasco da Gama have become the latest clubs to be credited with interest in Tottenham Hotspur’s Richarlison.
Journalist Thiago Asmar, popularly known as Pilhado, has taken to X, formerly known as Twitter, to report on the forward.
Asmar says he contacted the Tottenham player for an update and the information shared is relayed by Bolvaip in Brazil.
Fluminense president Mário Bittencourt has stated they have registered a formal interest in the 27-year-old with Spurs. On Wednesday, UOL stated Flamengo have ready to make a €20m bid, while Tottenham are demanding €40m.
The outlet says the journalist has an ‘excellent relationship’ with the Brazil international. Asmar claims to have found out from the former Everton man that he has offers from Fluminense and Flamengo.
As well as these two Brazilian sides, Corinthians, Palmeiras and Vasco da Gama are also showing interest in Richarlison. Asmar states the latter three have only made contact, likely to ask about his situation.
The player has ‘assured’ the journalist that Spurs ‘were direct in rejecting’ any possible negotiations in January. Ange Postecoglou’s side consider him ‘important’ and have no plans to let him leave midway through the season.
