Each week, Gazzetta dello Sport pick out a team of the best performers around european leagues from the previous domestic round.
They ignore their own Serie A for the purpose, and usually the players included come from the likes of the Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga and Ligue 1.
Dominic Solanke is the headline inclusion this week, with the Tottenham player finding his feet after his big money move from Bournemouth in the summer window.
The Spurs man isn’t the only Premier League player picked out by Gazzetta dello Sport, with Newcastle United’s Lewis Hall and Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo also included in the Italian newspaper’s XI.
Hall played at left-back as Newcastle United beat Arsenal at the weekend, and Semenyo scored a goal as Bournemouth beat Manchester City.
But it’s Solanke who Gazzetta dello Sport appear to be most impressed with, calling the Tottenham player ‘Il Migliori’/’The Best’.
The 27-year-old scored twice for Spurs as they beat Aston Villa 4-1, with Spurs seventh in the table.
