Under contract at Tottenham until the end of the season, Danny Rose remains a Spurs player for the time being.
It was announced the 30-year-old would be moving on from the club he joined from Leeds back in 2007, marking the final chapter of a 14-year long saga between the north London side and the left-back.
Not used once by José Mourinho or Ryan Mason this season, it was clear Rose would need to look elsewhere to further his career, and a move to Italy is being looked at.
That’s according to TuttoBolognaWeb, who report that the England international has been ‘offered’ to Bologna ahead of next season.
The Serie A side are looking at reinforcing the left-hand side of their defence, especially with Mitchell Dijks struggling with injuries.
The website explained Rose ‘received a proposal’, we’re guessing from the player’s entourage’, but it’s made clear the Italians ‘would be somewhat cold on this’.
That’s because the Tottenham defender ‘would not convince’ those in charge of transfers at Bologna, suggesting they have other ideas in mind when improving their squad.
