It’s now time for the Brazilian media to have a word on Richarlison’s potential departure from Tottenham Hotspur.
Following initial reports from the English press claiming the forward could move to Saudi Arabia, UOL columnist Rafael Reis shows up to back up that rumour.
Richarlison is said to be one of the ‘main targets’ for Saudi League clubs, who are concentrated in signing not so hyped players from European sides.
The story claims Richarlison is not that ‘attached’ to Tottenham right now due to his situation, and is one of the players who would be more ‘willing to accept an offer’ to change clubs in January compared to others who might be doing really well with their clubs.
That makes him an easier target for Saudi clubs, who know it won’t be an easy job to go after bigger stars in the January transfer window midway through the campaign.
Featuring for Tottenham this season, Richarlison has two goals and three assists in 11 appearances, and continues to have a hard time justifying the €58m Spurs spent on his signing in the summer of 2022.
Not only that, but it’s added the forward ‘doesn’t see many chances’ of his situation evolving positively ‘in the coming months’.
The Brazilian is currently valued by Transfermarkt at €40m, and we’re still to see for how much could he be moving in January.
