Lucas Moura may have lived an awkward few days had he been required to train by Mauricio Pochettino at the beginning of this week.
The Tottenham player hadn’t been called up to the current Brazil squad, and yet they’re training at the Spurs facilities ahead of two friendly matches.
It’s not the first time Brazil have been at Tottenham’s training ground, with the set-up there clearly impressing those who arrange facilities for the country’s national team.
So unless given a few days off by Pochettino, Moura would have had to put his envy to one side and be all smiles whenever bumping into compatriots.
But now there’s great news for the former PSG player… he’s been called up.
Gremio’s Everton has been forced to pull out, and Moura is taking his place, report Globo Esporte.
Brazil are set to face Saudi Arabia and Argentina during the current international break, and Lucas Moura will hope he gets a chance to impress.
