Lucas Bergvall signed a new contract at Tottenham a few days ago.

While the midfielder is out for the rest of the season, his long-term future is very secure in London.

After all, he’s made quite a mark for Spurs under Ange Postecoglou and it’s easy to see why the decision to tie him down was made by Tottenham.

The teenager’s new deal will run out in 2031 and AftonBladet have provided some key information about the contract.

They state that Bergvall could become one of the highest paid teenagers in the world, if he fulfils all the bonuses of the contract.

The Swedish outlet state that the midfielder can stand to earn a little over 52m SEK per season (£4m) if all bonuses are included.

The youngster is essentially tripling his earning from the previous contract and is being rewarded for his key performances for Tottenham in the campaign.

Bergvall has played 45 times in all competitions for Tottenham, scoring once and assisting four times. Despite being so young, he has shown his qualities and it is fair to say that he has massive potential to fulfil in the coming years.
