One of the bigger stories doing the rounds in France these days is the potential return of Serge Aurier to Paris Saint-Germain.
Currently at Tottenham, the right-back appears to be on his way out from the London club this summer, and despite a number of big clubs (Real Madrid and Milan have been named) circling, the belief is he could really head back to his former side.
So much so, in fact, that Leonardo, the man in charge of transfers at the French side, ‘has already called Tottenham’ about the deal.
That’s according to French journalist Romain Molina, who recently released a video looking at what could change in Paris going forward.
He reports Aurier is PSG’s ‘priority’ for the summer, and the good news for the Ligue 1 side is that the player ‘wants to come back’.
What isn’t good news for either the defender or the French side is the fact Mauricio Pochettino ‘isn’t the keenest’ about the whole thing.
Yet, despite that, ‘negotiations are underway’, with a deal of ‘around €10m for Tottenham’ in the works.
That appears a step forward to what has already been reported, so it’s worth keeping an eye on this.
