Tottenham Hotspur’s interest in AFC Bournemouth defender Lloyd Kelly is today again mentioned by the Italian media.

It’s CalcioMercato.it who write about the big race for the 25-year-old, reiterating that AC Milan are also keen.

The outlet claims the Rossoneri won’t have an easy time to get Kelly signed because of the competition, and that’s where Tottenham are brought in.

It’s said Spurs already made a £20m bid in the summer, which was rejected, and ‘have not let go’ of his signing.

Kelly’s contract with Bournemouth expires at the end of the season, and that’s why CalcioMercato.it says he should now be worth half of what Tottenham had offered, making the move a potential bargain.

There are more clubs in that race, though, as the likes of Juventus and Liverpool ‘also like’ the defender.

Milan want a new centre-back and the story claims Kelly became their priority, with them dismissing other players who’ve been offered. So Tottenham should probably watch out for those competitors, as it won’t take a lot of money to get him signed in the coming months.
