Tottenham Hotspur are in the mix to sign Torino’s Wilfried Singo in the summer window, according to Tuttosport.
Operating as a right wing-back, he managed two goals and three assists from 35 games last season. He’s ‘especially liked’ by both AC Milan and AS Roma, while Inter Milan are also keen to secure his services.
The 22-year-old also has suitors in the Premier League and only Tottenham get a mention.
It’s claimed Spurs have ‘never hidden their appreciation’ for the Ivory Coast international.
Singo has a year left on his deal and hasn’t extended the contract, which is why the Serie A side have decided to sell him and also signed Raoul Bellanova from Cagliari to replace him.
Tuttosport state the Turin club have set a €15m asking price for the fullback but are ready to ‘close’ the deal at €12m.
Tottenham have Pedro Porro, Emerson Royal and Djed Spence, who’s returning from a loan spell at Rennes, as the three right-backs currently in their squad. Unless they were to let go two of them in this window, it wouldn’t make sense for them to sign Singo.
