Sometimes we like to take a break from the transfer madness and cover some more light-hearted stories, like the one of Mousa Dembélé and his choice to not wear any underwear when going to the tailor’s.

The anecdote comes from Eric Simonofski, the man in charge of ensuring the whole Belgium national team look as dapper as possible in their pre-game attire, during an interview he was giving on RTL, relayed by DH.

According to the tailor, on the day the entire squad were coming through to get their measurements taken, everything was going great, until the Tottenham midfielder walked in.

He explained: “Mousa Dembélé came in in a tracksuit to get his suit fitted. When I asked him to take it off, he said, ‘Listen, I can’t’. I replied, ‘but I can’t take your measurements over your tracksuit’.

“And that’s when he admitted, ‘But I don’t have anything underneath’. Therefore, we took his measurements over his tracksuit, obviously.”

Is this is an everyday thing for the Spurs man? We don’t like to speculate, but what we can discuss is whether or not he’ll be playing under Mauricio Pochettino next season.

With the Chinese Super League transfer window now shut, there’s a good chance Dembélé, who has so far rejected Tottenham’s attempts to renew his contract, could end up leaving Wembley this summer for another club in Europe.

Where to? Inter appears to be the likeliest destination, but there’s always the possibility of another club coming knocking at the last minute.

All they need to do is convince Daniel Levy.
