With his current deal running down next June, Adrien Rabiot is starting to create a few headlines, seemingly unwilling, at least for now, to extend his stay at Paris Saint-Germain.

This has led to speculation that clubs like Barcelona, Juventus and Milan have been sniffing around, but also Tottenham.

Back in September, we covered claims from Paris United that Spurs were one of the sides holding conversations with the midfielder’s camp, and that hasn’t changed.

According to Téléfoot, Mauricio Pochettino’s side are still among the suitors vying for Rabiot’s signature, but the French outlet explain that, as things stand, the 25-year-old is more inclined to extend his contract than finding a new club.

Tottenham are the only English club mentioned by the French source, and it’s made clear that’s down to their information.

This comes after they released an interview with former Paris Saint-Germain defender Maxwell, now Antero Henrique’s right-hand man.

The Brazilian said: “He has everything here. He’s at home, and we hope we can find the right solution for everyone. I’m still close to the players and I’m confident to have them for as long as possible here. I think [Rabiot] wants to stay here.”

While it’s not a definite confirmation, it does suggest that it would take quite the offer to convince Rabiot to switch allegiances next summer.

Then again, if Paris Saint-Germain don’t meet his demands, anything could happen and this potentially impressive signing isn’t dead yet.
