Italian newspaper Tuttosport today features a story where they explain Roma’s transfer window and the unlikely moves that José Mourinho’s should make in January.
The Giallorossi are only in a condition to sign players on loan unless some exits happen in the coming days. One of them could be the one of Amadou Diawara, who’s wanted by Valencia, and any others would be ‘surprising’.
It turns out that among those unexpected moves, there could be the one of Jordan Veretout, who according to the outlet, is wanted by Tottenham Hotspur.
It’s said the Frenchman is ‘liked by the Tottenham of Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici’, and with over 10 days until the end of the transfer window, something could happen there.
Tuttosport claims no offers have been delivered so far, but if Spurs are ‘serious’, then the Roma could accept selling the 28-year-old.
The funny thing is that one of the signings who the Giallorossi would like to spend that money on is a Tottenham player, as they’ve been reportedly taking an interest in Tanguy Ndombele, but that would only happen if departures took place first.
