Napoli are eyeing up a move for Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko this summer as they look to bolster their midfielder.
That’s according to Sky Sports Italy, who say Sissoko is ‘marked’ on Cristiano Giuntoli’s list of potential targets.
They explain that Napoli are eyeing several young players this summer, including Fortuna Sittard’s Zian Fleming for the midfield.
Their focus is not only young players, though, with ‘experienced’ stars also likely to be targeted.
At the top of that list is Tottenham’s Sissoko, with the Serie A side feeling that the 31-year-old Frenchman ‘could be an important reinforcement’ for them.
Now, there is no mention of whether Tottenham would sell or what sort of price Napoli would be looking to pay, just that he is a player they are looking at.
Sissoko has a contract with Spurs until 2023, so they’re under no pressure to sell, and their stance on a transfer is likely to be dependant on their new manager Paulo Fonseca.
The interest is there from Napoli, though, who could try and lure the Frenchman away from London this summer.
