Last week, Radio Rossonera reported Tottenham were keen on bringing Fabio Paratici back to the club.
The report suggested that Daniel Levy had already held a meeting with the Italian and had rather limited time to respond to an offer from the Lilywhites.
Calciomercato’s Daniele Longo has reported on the future of Paratici, stating Tottenham did indeed make an attempt for the 52-year-old, who will be back in action from next season onwards after a FIFA ban.
The journalist has reported that despite Spurs’ attempts, Paratici is inclined towards joining AC Milan and a move to the San Siro is gathering pace.
As a result, Tottenham are all but set to continue with their current management setup without Paratici, who is currently having in-depth discussions with the Rossoneri as he looks to revolutionise the club’s approach in the transfer window.
The ex-Juventus sporting director did make some key signings at the London giants, having brought Dejan Kulusevski, Rodrigo Bentancur, Guglielmo Vicario and Destiny Udogie to the club.
All of them have arguably been successful moves for Tottenham.
