Earlier this month, Fotospor stated Tottenham Hotspur scouts will be in Istanbul to watch Galatasaray’s Champions League clash against Bayern Munich on October 24th.
It was also explained that Spurs are planning to send four officials to keep an eye on Kerem Aktürkoğlu, Victor Nelsson and Sacha Boey.
Tottenham are keen on Aktürkoğlu and Milliyet now state they want to take a closer look at him.
The Turkish champions will host Beşiktaş later today, three days before the European tie against Bayern.
Aktürkoğlu has managed five goals and seven assists from 16 games this season and the number of clubs chasing him could increase if he were to extend his fine form.
The Turkey international’s deal expires in 2026 and he’s reportedly rejected an improved deal worth €1m per year.
Galatasaray have signed Davinson Sánchez and Tanguy Ndombélé from Tottenham in the last window, and Akşam stated that these deals have helped the two clubs build a good relationship, which could help in a potential deal for Aktürkoğlu.
