Tottenham have made inquiries for Roma winger Nicola Zalewski but the Italian side are not interested in a sale.

That’s according to Corriere Dello Sport, who say there have been ‘no lack of requests’ for the 20-year-old, who made his debut under Paulo Fonseca in May last year.

They report that Zalewski has plenty of interest in his signature and PSG and Tottenham are at the front of the queue, having recently ‘made enquiries’ with his entourage.

Antonio Conte in particular is a big fan and likes the Polish international ‘very much’ but that doesn’t mean Roma are going to sell any time soon.

Jose Mourinho and co aren’t interested in selling the youngster and have at no point ‘given the slightest opening’ to any negotiations.

Furthermore, they have Zalewski tied down to a contract until 2025, having had him sign a new contract in December last year.

Thus, Tottenham and PSG’s interest has been given short shrift, even if they have contacted his agent to see if there’s anything possible.
