AC Milan’s effort to sign Japhet Tanganga from Tottenham Hotspur has been strongly covered by the Italian media in the past couple of days, with the chase getting more intense today.
On Monday morning, we’ve seen newspaper Corriere Dello Sport claiming the operation is ‘advancing’, with the Rossoneri set to have ‘new talks’ with Spurs and the player’s entourage this week.
The negotiations would be for a loan deal.
Now it’s time for Calciomercato to confirm that ‘in the next few days’, Milan ‘will try the definitive lunge’ with Tottenham to close a deal for Tanganga.
It’s claimed a meeting in the middle of the week will be held between the Italian club and the player’s agents, where they will try to find the ‘final and total agreement’ for the operation.
Regarding the formula, Calciomercato claims Milan and Tottenham are working on a loan with a few clauses.
Those would be the right of redemption for the Serie A club, and then the ‘counter-redemption’ for Spurs, meaning a buy-back clause.
The clubs now must sort the figures for those extra options, and according to the report, the meeting will work to review the details.
