This morning, we saw website CalcioMercato.it coming up with strong claims regarding Tottenham Hotspur’s chase for Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic.
With club director Fabio Paratici said to be focused on getting the 21-year-old, it was even suggested that Spurs already have an agreement for the player’s personal terms.
Now as we continue to see more stories on the striker, CalcioMercato.it remains confident that Tottenham are one of the clubs who have the conditions to afford the signing.
In a new piece regarding Vlahovic’s chances of leaving in the January market, the outlet lists a few clubs who could land him by then.
Juventus, Manchester City and Tottenham are said to be the main contenders.
Regarding Spurs, it’s said Fabio Paratici already tried to make the signing in the summer, and the club continue to ‘have those economic resources capable of satisfying the requests’ of Fiorentina.
CalcioMercato claims Vlahovic’s price has been dropping, as it would now cost only €60m, including bonuses, to take him from La Viola.
That’s probably because of his contract situation, as his deal expires in 2023 and he has refused to sign a renewal.
