Here’s a nice new, and slightly different, rumour for Tottenham Hotspur: Links with Han Kwang-song.

Tuttomercatoweb report on Tuesday that Juventus are keen on the Cagliari player, something which has been bouncing around in the Italian media.

But now they’ve brought Tottenham into the picture.

TMW state Tottenham have ‘in the last few hours’ contacted Han’s entourage. They say this seems to be the ‘prelude to a real offer’ being made by the Premier League club.

Han Kwang-song is a North Korean international. He’s 19 years of age and plays as a striker for Cagliari, but he’s been on loan at Perugia in Serie B.

Tottenham have been keeping a close eye on the youngster, according to the claims which TMW give Corriere di Torino some of the credit for.

Even if the claims of Spurs interest are true, it seems unlikely Mauricio Pochettino would want the player for his first team squad immediately.

It does however raise the possibility of North Korea’s Han Kwang-song linking up with South Korea’s Son Heung-min which would surely be welcomed by many on the Korean peninsula.
