According to claim in the Austrian media, Tottenham Hotspur are interested in RB Salzburg forward Hwang Hee-chan.
The South Korea international has impressed for the Austrian club this season during their run to the Europa League semi finals.
Laola1 have reported some Salzburg players are being targeted by other clubs given their performances in the Europa League.
Two of those players highlighted are Hwang Hee-chan and defender Stefan Lainer. It’s claimed Tottenham have been tracking Hwang Hee-chan for a long period, but could face competition from German clubs.
It’s reported Hertha Berlin are watching the 22 year old ahead of the next transfer window, and a good World Cup this summer for South Korea is likely to raise his profile.
With Son Heung-min already at Tottenham, the Premier League side may feel confident if they do decide to come in for Hwang Hee-chan in the next window.
The youngster has played for his country 16 times, scoring 2 goals.
