Tottenham Hotspur scout Wayne Robinson has spoken to the Swedish media and confirmed his interest in two players.
The Tottenham official is currently in Sweden at a Allsvenska development camp for 15 year olds, which has attracted agents and scouts.
Speaking to Fotbol Direkt, Robinson was asked whether Tottenham have put pressure on him to discover the next Harry Kane: “They (Tottenham) said it would be great if I could find a good player that I believe in and invite him to England.
“It may as well be five players if it is so high. The club puts no pressure on me but trusts my judgment. I saw two to three players I liked today, it was a striker from Stockholm and a defender from Gothenburg.”
Fotbol Direkt report nearly 400 of Sweden’s best U15s are being put through their paces this week at the training camp in Halmstad, which will involve games against district teams.
Due to the expected quality of the youngsters on show this has attracted the likes of Tottenham to check out the talent being produced in the country.
