Gleison Bremer’s stellar rise at Torino this season has not gone unnoticed, and Tottenham Hotspur are among many clubs across Europe keeping tabs on him.

The centre-back’s impressive displays were rewarded with a new contract at the start of February. This, however, will not block his chances of leaving the Serie A side in the next window.

On Thursday, Gazzetta dello Sport reported Tottenham Hotspur have started contacts to sign the defender valued in excess of €50m.

Inter Milan and Napoli are credited with an interest in the defender and Il Mattino state these two sides will ‘challenge’ each other for the Brazilian’s signature.

The Serie A winners were convinced he would join them, before the 25-year-old learned of interest from Napoli. However, it is ‘not an easy operation’ to sign the South American because there are clubs outside Italy ‘very interested’ in him, including Spurs.

Over at TuttoMercatoWeb, they claim Bremer has been on the radar of the north London club ‘for some time’.

In addition to this, they have also managed to get a comment from Torino chairman Urbano Cairo on the interest he has received for the star.

“Have Inter made themselves heard for Bremer? There is a lot of interest, even abroad… but let’s see. Let’s wait and finish the championship well, there are seven games left which are not few. Then we’ll see,” Cairo told TMW.
