After eliminating Real Madrid and Juventus, Ajax have made it to the semi-final of the Champions League.

The Dutch side’s impressive displays across all competitions have seen several clubs take note of their players and one of those drawing attention is Donny van de Beek.

According to FcInterNews.it, Tottenham Hotspur are one of the clubs chasing the midfielder.

It is highly unlikely that FcInterNews will be reporting about the 22-year-old if the Nerazzurri have not identified the Netherlands international as a summer transfer target.

The report claims the Serie A outfit are looking to bring in two midfielders for next season and Van de Beek is believed ready to make the next big jump.

Inter have kept an eye on the player and their scouts have watched him several times in the past few months.

His price tag was €25m last summer and it’s now doubled to €50m, which is deemed as a ‘high figure’ by the Italian club.

However, it’s believed Tottenham would be willing to pay the quoted fee ‘without delay’ for Van de Beek.

The north London club are ‘in the front row’ for the Dutchman as they have identified him as a replacement for Christian Eriksen, whose contract at Tottenham expires in 2020.

FcInterNews’ report indicates that Tottenham will only move for the Ajax star, who has 14 goals and 11 assists in all competitions, if the Dane leaves the club.
