Having missed out on Michy Batshuayi to Chelsea, it appears Tottenham aren’t quite done with Marseille yet, as La Provence claim the London club are after another exciting prospect.

Georges-Kevin Nkoudou, who arrived from Nantes last season for a measly €1.5m (£1.24m), was one of the bigger surprises of the season for the French club, providing much needed excitement in an otherwise lacklustre season.

The local French newspaper claim quite a few European clubs, including Sevilla, Villarreal and Tottenham, have followed him for a few months now, as well as other smaller clubs from the Premier League.

That being said, no offer is yet reported as having reached Marseille’s desk, but La Provence expect this to change rather quickly.

Bought for peanuts, Marseille are expecting an offer of around €10m (£8.3m) minimum before opening negotiations regarding the left-winger, but this could quickly change if a bidding war starts taking place.

The 21-year-old scored 10 goals and provided five assists for his teammates over the course of 41 appearances in all competitions for Marseille last season.
