Over the next few months it’s likely Aaron Ramsey will be linked with more than half the clubs in the Premier League.

That’s started already, with the Juventus player said to be of interest to sides including West Ham, Crystal Palace and Liverpool.

TMW’s Saturday’s morning editorial brings Tottenham and Everton into the picture for the Welshman and a transfer this summer. It’s stated both Spurs and the Toffees, along with Liverpool, have made some sort of contact over the potential signing, likely wanting to know the financial conditions of a move.

Juventus’ aim appears to be sending Ramsey back to the Premier League, having signed him on a free transfer from Arsenal. Given they didn’t have to pay a fee to the Gunners, the Turin club handed out big wages they’re now looking to get rid of.

Ramsey’s move hasn’t been a complete disaster, but his contribution doesn’t match the salary he’s due, on a contract which lasts until June 2023.

This season the 30-year-old has made 26 appearances, although he’s rarely completed a full match. Currently out with an injury, again, Tottenham and Everton would surely have to consider the player’s fitness history before going in strongly.
