Red Bull Salzburg’s Benjamin Šeško has ended up in the sights of Tottenham Hotspur.

Sportitalia journalist Gianluigi Longari took to Twitter to report Spurs are ‘considering’ the young striker, although he doesn’t mention whether the north London club have the 18-year-old on their agenda for the winter market or next summer.

However, he does make it clear there is ‘nothing advanced at the moment’ and there are other clubs in the picture for the Slovenia international.

The forward joined the Austrian champions in 2019 and made his first team debut last January. Last summer, he signed an extension and his current deal with Red Bull Salzburg runs down in 2026.

Earlier this month, Gazzetta dello Sport reported Lazio had identified Šeško as a target, as Red Bull Salzburg currently have the Slovenia international, Karim Adeyemi and Noah Okafor leading their attack.

Gazzetta state they will sell one or two of the aforementioned three players between now and next summer. The report even adds it would take ‘no less than €15m’ to take Šeško away from his current employer.

With the price reportedly set, Antonio Conte’s side are aware the minimum fee they need to spend if they want to sign Šeško, who has seven goals and six assists in 24 matches in all competitions this season.
