Tottenham are one of several clubs keen on Wolfsburg youngster Omar Marmoush and are ‘closely monitoring’ his development.
That’s according to BILD, who say Spurs have put the youngster ‘on their shopping list’ ahead of the summer.
Marmoush is currently out on loan at VfB Stuttgart, where he has managed three goals and four assists in 17 games this season.
It’s on the international stage where he’s really made his mark, though, having ‘stormed’ alongside Liverpool star Mohamed Salah at the African Cup of Nations earlier this year, where they were beaten in the final against Senegal.
The ‘lightning-fast’ forward is considered a ‘major asset’ at both club and international level, and it seems he is now on the Premier League’s radar, with Tottenham one of the interested parties.
According to BILD, that suits the player perfectly as his ‘big career goal’ is to play in the Premier League, and he has ‘dreamed’ of a move to England since he was a boy.
He’s been working on making that dream come true, even switching agents to ICM Stellar Sports as they are well connected in England and have the likes of Jack Grealish and Luke Shaw on their books.
Wolfsburg are aware of this and know they will have to make a decision this summer because Marmoush’s contract expires next year.
If he won’t sign a new deal, this summer would be the last chance to ‘make some real money’ from the player.
Thus, Tottenham could be given the chance to get their man and are certainly interested as far as BILD are concerned.
