Takvim claim Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino is interested in signing Domagoj Vida from Besiktas.
The Turkish newspaper reports Spurs are looking to make some signings in the summer and Vida could be an option for the Premier League side.
Vida was strongly linked with a move to the Premier League during the last summer transfer window after impressing for his country in the World Cup. There were links with Arsenal, but they weren’t the only ones.
There was also reports Everton, Liverpool and West Ham United were all tracking the World Cup finalist. Vida was key in helping Croatia reach the final of the competition last summer, resulting in this reported interest from England.
Cash-strapped Besiktas are likely to be open to selling Vida as the club need to generate some money from player sales in order to comply with FFP.
The 29 year old has been in good form for Besiktas in recent weeks and has played 32 games for the Istanbul club in all competitions this season.
Vida is under contract at Besiktas until June 2022.
The defender did impress in Russia but the links are times felt forced, and that may well be the same case with Tottenham.
