Tottenham continue to be linked with multiple managers around world football, with the Italian media convinced Spurs have been looking towards Serie A.

There’s been links with several Italian managers, both in and out of work, without an awful lot looking like it’s actually happening. Now Stefano Carina, who writes for Il Messaggero, reports Tottenham have been in contact with Paulo Fonseca.

The claims, carried by Voce Giallorossa, Forza Roma and Tutto Roma, explain the Premier League club are joined by Zenit and Benfica in initiating contact with the Portuguese coach.

Fonseca is leaving Roma this summer, to be replaced by Jose Mourinho, who left Tottenham earlier year, however, it’s stated he’s not overly interested in taking any of the jobs presented to him.

That’s because Fonseca would like to continue working in Italy, although it’s explained he may have difficulty finding a role that’d be suitable for him this summer.

So, yet another manager that the Italian media insist Tottenham are keen on but who isn’t so keen on them.
