Last week, Fanatik reported Tottenham Hotspur are one of the clubs keen on signing Victor Nelsson in the summer window, and Galatasaray continue to demand €25m for the centre-back.
It was also stated the Istanbul club have identified Spurs’ Davinson Sánchez as a target to replace the 24-year-old.
Galatasaray vice-president Erden Timur has already held talks with Tottenham in the past few weeks and ‘had a meeting’ again with the English club. That’s according to Sabah, who say both the centre-backs were on the agenda.
Timur has taken nine flights between Austria, Germany, Turkey and England in the last four days. On his trip to the UK, it’s claimed he met with the Spurs officials, who want to sign the Denmark international. The parties also discussed Sánchez.
The report states Ange Postecoglou’s side are insisting on signing Nelsson while Galatasaray are reluctant to let go of him for less than €25m. The other formula ‘requested’ by the Turkish club is a €15m fee plus the Colombian.
Sabah suggest the transfers of these two players can be carried out using this formula and therefore, the report’s title reads: ‘Nelsson is leaving, Sánchez is coming’.
