Argentina’s Cielo Sports report Tottenham will present Juan Foyth as a new signing today, as long as everything goes to plan with the player’s paperwork and his medical tests.
Foyth has confirmed the swithc to Tottenham himself, with Mauricio Pochettino a big reason for choosing Spurs ahead of other interested clubs.
Cielo say the plan is to get everything sorted and then announce the transfer with Foyth ‘posing with the shirt of the last Premier League runner-up’.
Davinson Sanchez wasn’t presented with the shirt for several days after his signing was announced, so it’s perhaps optimistic for Cielo to believe the presentation is today.
Tottenham appear to be in no great rush to get things through, with Foyth waiting for several days in Argentina before flying to London.
