Tottenham Hotspur are today back on being named in the race for Ajax starlet Mohammed Kudus.

The news this time comes from Italy, where newspaper Corriere dello Sport features a story about the 22-year-old’s potential.

After pointing out all of the midfielder’s qualities, the outlet names a few clubs who are interested in the player. Those are Tottenham, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus and Milan.

The price tag right now isn’t frightening, as it’s of just €15m, but Corriere dello Sport makes it very clear that it could ‘explode’ in case Kudus does well for Ghana in the World Cup.

Tottenham are apparently well positioned in the race, because according to the newspaper, they are the among the ‘strongest rivals’ for the signing, along with Borussia Dortmund.

Featuring for Ajax this season, Kudus has ten goals and two assists in 21 appearances.

The youngster has also been linked to a few Premier League clubs this year, including Tottenham, with the latest news about the Spurs pursuit being made in early October.

Now even though he may look like a cheap signing, the World Cup could change the whole scenario.
